Alleycats Recognized

Today i was very happy because my favourite singer Mr David Arumugam from the group ALLEYCATS well known to all walks of life in Malaysia has finally got his Datukship.Who does not know Alleycats .From the baby who sucks thumb to the very elderly man with a walking stick from all races in Malaysia will sing along their song .I am a fan of Alleycats since the early 80's.I remember their songs such Senandung semalam,Hingga akhir nanti, and many more.Alleycats is combination of two brothers Thyiagarajan(David) Arumugam and his late brother Loganathan Arumugam and together with their band which was Malaysia only non malay performers who can sing and perform beautifull malay songs which has captured the hearts of all the Malaysian especially the Malay audience.

Alleycats was formed in the year 1969 and got the name ALLEYCATS because where they live and started their career was an alley and there were many cats so thats why they called themselves as Alleycats.This group was the only group that has manage to stay together and devoted to their music for almost 40 years for their fans and still going strong.With the demise of Loganathan in the year 2007 this group is still strong and the spirit of music is still going for their fans.Datuk David Arumugam recieve his JSM (Johan setia mahkota) from the king last December.And now just after few months he was awarded DIMP(Darjah indera mahkota pahang) which carries the title Datuk.



Thats a straight row of awards he has been receiving for his remarkable showmanship and his dedication with his band members for the fans of Alleycats.The Alleycats today is a legend after the late P.Ramlee.I think with the award given to Datuk David i suggest the goverment should also award and pay tribute to his brother Loganathan.Anyway all i can say is TERIIIMA KASIIIIH

SINGH IS KING

Malaysian veteran lawyer and DAP chairperson Mr Karpal Singh has lately been the centre of criticism .The reason was because he was against the Sultan of Perak decision to ask MB Nizar to step down along with his exco members to pave way for the BN .BN goverment was rejected by the people of Perak in the last election.The interference by Sultan of Perak on the MB post
made Mr Karpal very angry and as a lawyer who has practised Law more than 40 years he is using all his legal way to battle his way out to prove that what the Sultan did was wrong.To add to this heat Umno youth has been going on street protest and so far 84 police reports has been made against Mr Karpal.I advise that Umno Youth make yourself clear about Law and changes made in our Law system before becoming heroes on the street.Even the home Minister is keeping quiet why dont you.Stay away from THIS SINGH IS KING

THAIPUSAM carnival

Thaipusam is a Hindu celebration to mark the birth of Lord Muruga the youngest son to Lord Shiva and Mother Paravathi as well the youngest brother to Lord Ganesha.Thaipusam is a very highly and very spritual festival because on this day many devotess carry the kavadi or pal kudam(milk pots) to fullfill their wow to Lord Muruga as thankgiving.But Thaipusam today is much more like a Carnival than to a yearly hindu festival.I remember following my grandfather who carries a kavadi and my father who also carried the kavadi but things at their time was very different.At that time a kavadi carriers will be followed by some elerdy man or woman singing Lord Murugan songs and the chanting of vel vel makes any kavadi carrier feel highly spritual to fullfill their vow .But today the younger generations are actually spolling the whole concept of Thaipusam with their drum or they call as (urumi) which is absolutely got no any connection with any kavadi carriers.Together with smoking cigar,and worst of all i saw one wearing eyelashes mascara and lipstick and smoking cigar and carring a walking stick.What nonsense is this .And to add their performance they were surrounded by a large group of people and many of them were on alcohol.This clowns are a disturbing the real kavadi bearer or the pal kudam (milk pot) carriers as they were dominating the whole area of prayers right from the riverside till the top at Murugan deity at Batu Caves.To add for their excitment the was a this stalls operating selling Hindu cultured articles and foods.But there was also a open disco with blasting music which was selling and promoting their music.This music was loud that they dont seem to understand that that there were eldery people and young infant are passing by.Who monitors this people ,Why give permission to rock music to perform inside temple ground .Please tell me which place of worship allows rock music in side their worship area.Why Batu Caves manangment is so careless by allowing this negative in the temple ground.If the Batu caves manangment allow this in future than Batu caves In Malaysia will not be recognise Malaysian Thaipusam Festival place but as Thaipusam carnival.

Perak PEOPLE cheated

All i can say is that the people of Perak have been cheated by 3 ungrateful MP's and one who cannot make his mind by jumping like a frog from one stone to another stone and i am not sure which stone next he is going to jump,or shall the people who voted him, all carry a stone and stone at him so that he will know what is being stoned(feeling of the Rakyat).All the MP's who created a havoc and misery for the state of Perak and their Bosses are today with next PM of Malaysia.What they did not get there they will try to get here.They name themself Independant.My question now is why choose a party that have lost 2 election recently.Why choose the losser,why choose the party that people don't vote.What is the secret calling yourself independant.I hope something postive will take place to safe guard the people of Perak and to concentrate on nation building and bringing in investors.My advise to all poltician you are selected by the people and the same people can kick you off if not now but soon because we are the PEOPLE

Is BN a Champion

Reading the latest news that BN ruling party has regain Perak from the Pakatan ruling goverment.HOW WAS THAT DONE?.That is the question now being gossip at every kopitiam shop and also the mamak shops.Business is good for the shop owners.Malaysia now is well known to have elected MP's jumping ship for their own convenience and their own pleasure ,not being elected and to be a representative serving people from their constituency.What is the reason behind this.Well MONEY,Remember the song by ABBA in the 80's Money Money Money must be funny in a rich man's world.I believe that money was lured to them for the crossover.The reason to collapse the Pakatan Goverment and BN can take power.Such a dirty trick and a filthy way .Among the MP's who crossover there is some having court case also .Oh my god why you guys in BN so desperate .Any way lets wait and see what the Perak Sultan has to say ,I guess he will make a wise decision as he was the former Lord President.
